Frequently Asked Questions​

Do I need a ScoreStream account?
You need access to ScoreStream’s widget creator to create and manage your scoreboard. Save the widget there, then enter its numeric ID in the add-on options.

Where do I configure the add-on?
Open ACP → Setup → Options and find Talmyric SportsTicker — Slot 1, Slot 2, or Slot 3.

Can I display more than one scoreboard?
Yes. Configure and enable up to three slots. Each can use a different widget ID, layout, placement, and audience.

Can I combine a banner and a vertical scoreboard?
Yes. For example, place a horizontal scoreboard below navigation and a vertical scoreboard in the right sidebar.

How do I select teams, sports, and leagues?
Configure those in ScoreStream. Available coverage depends on ScoreStream; the add-on does not supply its own scores or guarantee coverage of particular leagues.

Does selecting Vertical convert my horizontal widget?
No. Create the appropriate widget in ScoreStream, then select its matching type and ID in XenForo.

Where should vertical scoreboards go?
The right sidebar or left side column is usually a suitable placement. Vertical widgets previously placed above the footer move to the right sidebar when upgrading to 1.2.1.

Why does a sidebar scoreboard appear below the content on my phone?
XenForo’s responsive layout can stack the right sidebar beneath the main content. The left column may collapse behind a navigation button.

Why is my scoreboard blank or clipped?
Check the widget ID, matching widget type, visibility settings, and ScoreStream preview. Adjust the height if needed. Browser blockers, site security policies, or customized styles may also affect display.

Can I change the colors and scrolling behavior?
Configure the scoreboard’s internal appearance and behavior in ScoreStream. The add-on controls its surrounding heading, border, spacing, and dimensions.

Does it support Team Schedule or Photo/Video Gallery widgets?
Version 1.2.1 supports Horizontal/Banner Scoreboard and Vertical Scoreboard widgets.

Does it load third-party content?
Yes. Enabled scoreboards use ScoreStream’s hosted JavaScript and remote content. Site owners should account for this in their privacy and consent arrangements.
