Upgrading? Your existing scoreboard settings stay in Slot 1. Slots 2 and 3 start disabled on a new installation.

  1. Install or upgrade the add-on

    Back up your forum, then open ACP → Add-ons → Install/upgrade from archive and select the release ZIP. If archive installation is unavailable, upload the contents of its upload/ folder to your XenForo root and install or upgrade through ACP.

  2. Create a ScoreStream widget

    Choose Horizontal/Banner or Vertical Scoreboard, select the available teams and sports, save it, and copy the numeric data-user-widget-id from its embed code.

  3. Configure a slot

    Open ACP → Setup → Options → Talmyric SportsTicker. Enter the ID, select its matching widget type and placement, then enable the slot and save.

  4. Add another board

    Configure Slot 2 or Slot 3 independently. For vertical boards, try Right sidebar with a 500px height; the board shrinks to the available column width.

A few answers
before kick-off.

Where do the scores come from?

ScoreStream supplies the scoreboard content. Select teams, sports and available coverage in its widget creator. This add-on does not provide a separate score feed or guarantee any particular league’s coverage.

Can I show a banner and a vertical board together?

Yes. Up to three slots can display simultaneously. Each has its own widget ID, type, placement, dimensions and visibility settings.

Does changing the type convert my widget?

No. Create the appropriate type in ScoreStream, then use its matching type and ID in the add-on. A saved horizontal widget is not converted by selecting Vertical in XenForo.

Why is my sidebar below the content on mobile?

XenForo’s responsive layout may stack the right sidebar below the content. The left side column may collapse behind a navigation button. These are native columns, not fixed overlays.

What if the scoreboard is blank or clipped?

Check its ID, matching widget type, enabled status and audience. Test the saved widget in ScoreStream and adjust its height. Browser blockers, site security policies and custom styles may also affect display.

Where do I change colors, teams and scrolling?

Configure the scoreboard’s internal appearance and behavior in ScoreStream. The add-on controls the surrounding heading, dimensions, spacing, border, placement and visibility.

Are Team Schedule and Gallery widgets included?

Not in this release. Version 1.2.2 supports Horizontal/Banner Scoreboard and Vertical Scoreboard widgets.

Does it load third-party content?

Yes. Visible scoreboards use ScoreStream’s hosted JavaScript and remote content. Account for this in your site’s privacy and consent arrangements. If one slot triggers the shared loader, the vendor may initialize other widgets hidden by the small-screen setting too.

Combines all three slots into one ACP options entry. Code, native XenForo option/template, migration and package checks passed against the supplied XenForo 2.3.13 reference. Live installation, upgrade and end-to-end browser display remain unverified. Test on a staging forum before production use.
