Possible future improvements
The following are ideas for future releases, rather than confirmed commitments:
- More translation support: Move remaining editor and player messages into XenForo phrases.
- Per-group clip limits: Allow different clip counts or duration allowances for different member groups.
- Per-forum controls: Enable clip creation only in selected forums.
- Moderator display controls: Replace an individual embedded clip with its link while preserving the post content.
- Saved clip presets: Let members save commonly used clip lengths.
- A/B clip comparison: Present two selected segments together for sound, performance, or repair comparisons.
- Expanded mobile polish: Improve the layout and controls for smaller screens.
- Consent-manager integration: Connect click-to-load behavior with supported third-party consent systems.
- Additional video providers: Explore providers that offer suitable official embedding and playback controls.
Development priorities can be guided by member feedback and practical forum use.
